School Policies, Guidelines, Rules And Regulations

The rules and regulations of St. Nathanael Academy are meant to help the students attain the goals of a Nathanaelian education. They serve a meaningful purpose which is to ensure that the environment in the school and the classrooms will support an effective and meaningful discipline. These are the reasons why every Nathanaelian must follow the school’s rules and regulations faithfully:

  1. Pupils are required to attend classes regularly every day from Monday to Friday except when they have a valid reason for not attending. Punctuality is a must.
  2. Students who belong to the morning session are required to attend the Flag Ceremony every Monday   at 7:30 am. Those in the afternoon session are required to attend the Flag Retreat every Friday at 4:00 pm.
  3. Students are allowed to bring to the school educational toys only. Toy guns, robots, swords, and other toy weapons are discouraged.
  4. Playing will be in the playroom and other designated places.
  5. Proper uniforms must be worn as prescribed by the school.
  6. Junk foods and soft drinks are discouraged. Littering, shouting, saying unpleasant words are not      allowed.
  7. Comfort rooms must be properly used through the proper instructions of teachers.
  8. ENGLISH is the medium of instruction of the school.
  9. Roaming around aimlessly during break time is not allowed.
  10. Toys, school supplies, materials, uniforms and other items must be bought from the School Canteen; bringing food stuff outside the school is forbidden.
  11. Service rides or vehicles for pupils must be properly accredited by the school authorities.
  12. All persons who fetch students must have proper identification.
  13. Parents are not allowed to loiter around the hallway or join their children in the classroom during teaching lessons. Fetchers are provided a place while waiting.
  14. PE uniforms are worn on Fridays, as prescribed by the school.
  15. Expensive jewelry should not be worn in school. Pupils or students should not bring much money.
  16. Notes coming from teachers, homework, assignments, behavior of students must be read by parents. Parents are enjoined to supervise their children in their homework.
  17. All prescribed forms and requirements of the school must be filled out and submitted.
  18. Children’s Mass is every First Friday of the month at a given time. Students in the afternoon sessions are required to attend the monthly morning mass.
  19. All school regulations regarding payments of fees shall be made within the time prescribed.
  20. Scholarship will be provided by the school, the criteria of which will be announced in the future.
  21. Full payment of the entire year for school fees will be enforced.
  22. If there are three siblings enrolled, the third sibling pays only one half of the tuition fee.
  23. For admission to Grade I, two years of pre-elementary education is required. Age must be at least six years old.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

The SNA Uniform serves as an identification of bona fide students. Nathanaelians represent St. Nathanael Academy when they are in their uniform, and are therefore, responsible top the school when wearing it.
